León Physical Therapy Center

This marks a significant step forward in the construction of the León Physical Therapy Center, located at the ILAC Mission in Santiago de los Caballeros.
This project is made possible through the support of León Clinics in Miami and is being funded by the ILAC Foundation.
A meaningful step toward creating a space for health and rehabilitation for those who need it most.

Esto marca un avance importante en el proceso de construcción del Centro de Fisioterapia León, ubicado en la Misión ILAC, Santiago de los Caballeros.
Este proyecto es posible gracias al apoyo de Clínicas León de Miami y está siendo subvencionado por la Fundación ILAC.
Un paso más hacia un espacio de salud y rehabilitación para quienes más lo necesitan.

Today, the Gospel is fulfilled in the lives of Carmen Rosa and Melido Toribio:
“I was homeless and you gave me shelter.”

For years, they lived exposed to the elements, under a roof that offered no protection from rain or storms. Their four children grew up facing many hardships.
Thanks to the generosity of the Paul Hicks Foundation, through a grant from the ILAC Foundation in Miami, their reality has changed. May this act of love inspire others to help families still dreaming of a dignified home.

Hoy se cumple el Evangelio en la vida de Carmen Rosa y Melido Toribio:

“Me viste sin techo y me cobijaste.”Durante años vivieron prácticamente a la intemperie, bajo un techo que no los protegía ni de la lluvia ni de las tormentas. Sus cuatro hijos crecieron en medio de muchas dificultades.
Gracias a la generosidad de Paul Hicks Foundation, a través de una subvención de la
Fundación ILAC en Miami, hoy esta familia tiene un hogar digno y seguro.
Que este gesto inspire a otros a ayudar a más familias que aún sueñan con tener un techo propio.

Renovation of room area at ILAC Santiago

We recently had a blessing ceremony for the newly renovated dormitory rooms at ILAC CESI’s main campus to provide better accommodations for more volunteer missions to the populations we serve. Our ILACF Chairman, Dr Jorge Echenique, Eduardo Reinoso (Director of the Board of ILAC CESI) and Radalme Pena (Executive Director of ILAC CESI) are pictured at the ribbon cutting.


We are especially grateful for the support of our Board Members and several ILAC CESI Board members who were among the donors that made this improvement possible.

Thanks to the generous donation from the Paul & Beatriz Hicks Foundation, the Prosthetics Lab has been successfully modernized. This vital upgrade is already helping to provide advanced prosthetic solutions to individuals in need, improving lives and restoring independence.
