ILAC Foundation is a 501 (c) 3 designated charitable foundation founded by Father Ernesto F. Travieso, S.J. on January 16, 2006.
Established in order to obtain, collect, and manage resources to financially support the health, education, agriculture and spiritual programs, as well as other activities, of the ILAC/CESI Mission in the rural areas of the Dominican Republic. Based in Miami, the foundation is ideally located in order to maximize the impact of the resources that volunteer groups, friends, and donors contribute so that ILAC can fulfill its mission in favor of the most underserved communities in the rural areas of the country.
Vision
Establish a reliable flow of resources to the ILAC Mission necessary to facilitating the work its volunteers, donors and employees in the rural communities of the Dominican Republic, consistent with Christian values in everything we do.
Mission Statement
Maintain a long term, sustainable institution dedicated to ensuring the intention of the donors and implementation of our vision with discipline, values, and Ignatian spirituality, in this way supporting the financial responsibilities of the ILAC Mission. Raising and soliciting funds to facilitate and support the maintenance and operating costs of the CESI facilities, emergency funds in times of need and unforeseen events, and assistance to the employees and other beneficiaries of the ILAC Mission.
